One wallet holds your company's identity. The same wallet seals what your company sends.
Banqup issues your organisation a European Business Wallet and a qualified seal certificate in the same subscription. The wallet proves who you are to counterparties, banks, platforms and consumers. The seal binds that identity to every invoice, statement and certificate you issue.
Hold and prove your identity
Registration extract, VAT status, IBAN, permits and certifications live in the wallet as verifiable attestations. Present them once; every counterparty verifies without re-collecting paperwork.
Seal what you send
A qualified electronic seal on an invoice, statement or certificate binds the document to your legal entity — not to the platform that transported it — and lets the recipient verify its integrity and origin.
Issue and sell attestations
Become an issuer: attest facts about your suppliers, members or customers. Let third parties pay for the attestations they request, settled over Banqup's payment rails.
The bundle argument, in one line
A seal certificate on its own proves a document was not altered. It does not tell the receiver anything they can act on. The wallet is what carries the registration, VAT and IBAN attestations the receiver actually checks. Used separately, each half under-delivers; used together, the receiver can auto-approve by verifying document data.

Premium add-ons
Two capabilities are deliberately not in the base plan: they change your regulatory role from holder/verifier to issuer, and they move money.
Issue credentials (EAA / QEAA)
Attest facts about suppliers, members, employees or products- · OID4VCI issuance endpoints and credential designer
- · Revocation, status list and 7-year evidence retention
- · One issuer identity per Space — branches map to establishments
Sell credentials over Banqup payment rails
Third parties pay you for the attestations they request- · SEPA Direct Debit €0.35 · iDEAL €0.32 · Bancontact €0.39
- · You set the price per credential type; Banqup collects and settles
- · Weekly SEPA payout, T+2 confirm with Treasury
What the wallet unlocks elsewhere in Banqup
Once the wallet holds a verified registration extract, VAT attestation and IBAN attestation, onboarding to another Banqup product is a consent screen instead of a form.
Internal: How the price is built
Not a customer-facing screen. This is the derivation behind the plan table, so you can argue every number in a pricing committee — and see exactly which ones I made up.
Starting point: Banqup's existing QSeal list price
Source: Banqup QSeal commercial terms as recorded in your own notes. Certificate cost is not included in the batch price.
| Component | List price | Per year | Per seal |
|---|---|---|---|
| QSeal certificate, per legal entity | €600 / 6 years, upfront | €100.00 | — |
| Seal execution — 10,000 documents | €170 / year | €170.00 | €0.0170 |
| Seal execution — 50,000 documents | €770 / year | €770.00 | €0.0154 |
| Seal execution — 100,000 documents | €1,360 / year | €1,360.00 | €0.0136 |
| Seal execution — 250,000 documents | €2,920 / year | €2,920.00 | €0.0117 |

Skribble figures: skribble.com/en-eu/pricing, retrieved 26 Aug 2026, cross-checked against a second vendor-comparison source. Banqup QES figures: your recorded Phase 2 corporate pricing. Public list prices for competitor QSeal certificates are largely quote-based — GlobalSign, D-Trust, Namirial and DigiCert publish product pages without prices, so the €300–1,500 range could not be independently re-verified today and should be treated as an internal estimate.
Payment-rail benchmark for selling credentials
| Method | Market rate | Proposed Banqup fee |
|---|---|---|
| EU consumer card | 1.5–1.8% + €0.25 | 2.4% + €0.25 |
| SEPA Direct Debit | €0.25–0.35 | €0.35 |
| iDEAL | €0.29–0.32 | €0.32 |
| Bancontact | €0.39 | €0.39 |
Sources. Mollie card rate 1.8% + €0.25 and Stripe EU card rate ~1.5% + €0.25, iDEAL €0.29–0.32, Bancontact €0.39, SEPA DD €0.25–0.35 — corroborated across three independent comparison sources (comparepsp.com, europeanstack.com, paymentgatewaycost.com, all reviewed or verified in H1 2026). On cards the proposed take leaves roughly 0.6 percentage points of platform margin over acquiring cost; on local rails it is pass-through with no margin, which is a decision to confirm.

Documents onboarding and Payments activation
Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands share the same high-level journey: identify the applicant, verify the business, set up the workspace, approve and sign. Country registries and identity methods remain local.
Documents is activated first. Payments is a separate optional activation and reuses the verified business profile. A BSN is requested only for Dutch Payments activation, never for Documents.
Country coverage
Sealing is recognised across the EU, but self-service onboarding depends on access to a trusted business registry and an accepted identification route. This screen belongs in the sales flow, not buried in a contract annex.
| Market | Seal onboarding | Representative identification | Registry lookup | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🇧🇪 Belgium | Self-service | BanqupID | KBO / BCE | Live |
| 🇫🇷 France | Self-service | BanqupID | RNE / INPI confirm | Live |
| 🇳🇱 Netherlands | Self-service demo | BanqupID / EUDI Wallet | KVK demonstration | Documents + Payments |
| 🇮🇹 Italy | Manual operator procedure | SPID | Registro Imprese — pending | Signing only |
| 🇩🇪 Germany · 🇪🇸 Spain · rest of EU | Manual operator procedure | BanqupID | Not integrated | On request |
Waitlist behaviour for a country that is not yet live
Rather than a dead end, an out-of-scope country can start a one-month Sandbox trial and queue a production seal request that converts the moment registry access lands.

Issue credentials Premium
Attest facts about other parties — that a supplier passed your audit, that a member is in good standing, that a batch meets a standard. Recipients hold your attestation in their own wallet and present it wherever they need it.
This changes your regulatory role
As a holder you present facts about yourself. As an issuer you make statements others rely on — which brings revocation duties, a status list, and evidence retention. That is why it is a separate add-on rather than a toggle.

Compliance & lifecycle
Everything with an expiry date, in one place. Most sealing incidents are a date nobody was watching.
| What | Expires | Effect if it lapses | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seal certificate 3-year validity | 26 Aug 2029 1,096 days | Sealing stops. Renewal needs fresh consent from a current representative. | Healthy | |
| Representative's consent | 26 Aug 2029 tracked separately | Sealing attestation is withdrawn even if the certificate is still valid. | Healthy | |
| Alfredo's identity document | 14 Nov 2026 80 days | One calendar month of grace, then re-identification. The seal key is rotated and the certificate reissued. | Renew soon | |
| Tax compliance attestation | 31 Jul 2026 expired | Removed from the public profile and the directory. Counterparties requesting it get nothing. | Expired | |
| Colette's power of attorney | 31 Dec 2026 127 days | She keeps portal access but can no longer seal on behalf of the company. | Renew soon | |
| Periodic re-verification of the company | 26 Aug 2028 per Banqup's practice statement | Suspension until the company's details are re-confirmed against the register. | Healthy |
If something goes wrong
Anything you sealed before revocation stays verifiable for its lifetime. Trust follows the chain that was valid when you signed — so revoking today does not retroactively invalidate last year's invoices.
Changes that need a conversation first
| Change of legal name | New certificate, same company. Attestations issued under the old name stay valid. |
| Change of company number | Treated as a new company. Onboard again; offboard the old one. |
| Merger or acquisition | Offboard plus onboard. There is no merge — the surviving company re-onboards under its own identity. |
| New authorised representative | Permission change, and possibly re-identification depending on the scope of the change. |

Your qualified seal is live
Alfredo, the seal certificate for Gusteau BV was issued this afternoon. Anything you seal from now on is bound to your company and verifiable across the EU.
What is set up

Scope, gaps & roadmap
What this mockup deliberately shows as unavailable, what it invented, and what needs a decision before any of it becomes real.
Constraints the mockup respects
Each of these comes from Banqup's actual service scope. A demo that quietly ignores them sets up a bad conversation later.
| Constraint | Where it shows up |
|---|---|
| QSeal is live in Belgium and France only, gated on trusted business-registry access for self-service onboarding | Country coverage screen, with a waitlist and manual-onboarding path rather than a dead end |
| No batch sealing — one document, one operation | Called out on the sealing and automation screens so nobody sizes an invoice run wrong |
| PAdES LTV only in production; XAdES and CAdES are in audited scope and enabled by configuration | Format dropdown, and a rejected XAdES attempt in the activity log |
| No qualified preservation service | Flagged on the seal result screen next to the LTV row |
| Only the document hash is transmitted | Consent screen and API screen |
| Partners cannot act as a registration authority — Banqup performs identification itself and contracts directly with the subscriber | Identification screen and consent screen |
| Validation uses the European Commission's service, not a Banqup implementation | Verification page |
| Certificate renewal is transparent to the integration — the authorisation key does not change | Consent renewal email and compliance screen |
| Identity document expiry gives one month of grace, then re-identification and re-key | Compliance screen and the expiry email |
Functionality worth adding that was not in the brief
| Idea | Why |
|---|---|
| Never block a seal for lack of allowance | A blocked seal breaks an invoice run and the customer blames the product. Bill the overage and shout instead. See Quota & top-up. |
| Evidence pack export | Auditors and courts ask for the seal record plus the chain, the revocation responses captured at signing time and the timestamp tokens. Assembling that by hand is a support ticket every time. |
| Due diligence pack export | The strongest reason a customer keeps paying for the wallet is being able to hand a bank a verified set instead of a folder of scans. It is also how the wallet spreads to their counterparties. |
| One-month Sandbox trial | Lets customers and integrators evaluate the complete flow without creating production documents. |
| Multi-entity group console | A group with several legal entities needs one operator view over many wallets. Each entity still holds its own certificate and consent — the console is a lens, not a merge. |
| Automatic top-up and forecast-based alerts | Forecasting exhaustion from actual usage is more useful than a percentage threshold on its own. |
| Steering credential sales towards direct debit | On a €25 credential the fee difference between card and SEPA Direct Debit is €0.50 — worth a line of checkout copy. |
| Sandbox available with every plan | Integrators need somewhere to test safely, independent of their production tier. |
Decisions this mockup cannot make for you
| Open item | Who owns it |
|---|---|
| Every bundle price, allowance and overage rate on the pricing screen | Commercial — see How the price is built for the derivation and what is invented |
| Document and payments subscription rate cards, and whether wallet subscribers get a discount | Product owners for those lines |
| Whether collecting on a subscriber's behalf sits inside Banqup's payment institution permissions | Legal and Compliance |
| Who is the seller of record for VAT on a credential sale | Tax |
| Sustained API rate limit for sealing, and the overage grace period before suspension | Engineering and Finance |
| Which ERP connectors actually exist today | Product |
| Measured onboarding step-count with and without the wallet | Product — currently the bundle's best argument and nobody can cite it |
